At an art festival in Manotick a few months back, a painting I had sold was admired by one of my previous purchasers. I was asked if I would do something along the same lines....but bigger. "Surprise me" she said.

- Born in Grand'mere,Quebec and raised in Maniwaki, which is just a little town north of Ottawa. Attended Ashbury College in Ottawa and flunked out of Carleton University in my 1st year. A varied career followed, in forestry, land surveying,photography and finally as a designer of water spray systems for a large fire protection company. On retiring in 2003, I wanted to see what would happen if I concentrated on watercolours as a second career....turning out rather well.

ReplyDeleteI had the honour to help the lady hang this....it was heavy.....not to often do we get to see our stuff hung in the collectors house, let alone hang it.
