- Born in Grand'mere,Quebec and raised in Maniwaki, which is just a little town north of Ottawa. Attended Ashbury College in Ottawa and flunked out of Carleton University in my 1st year. A varied career followed, in forestry, land surveying,photography and finally as a designer of water spray systems for a large fire protection company. On retiring in 2003, I wanted to see what would happen if I concentrated on watercolours as a second career....turning out rather well.
